Margaret Schumitz is one of my students turned friend and fellow member of Boise's Treasure Valley Rug Hookers. She created this lovely tree skirt.  The bakground will be blue-jeans blue when completed.  She didn't make her deadline of being ready for Christmas this year, but won't be far behind that goal.  It is a lovely representation of "winter" as much as it is "Christmas".  Another goal Margaret achieved in this project is learning to dye....at least how to "dabble" in dyeing.
